Yes ! So happy to see this, I have been hoping someone would take this up because it seems like there are rules in place that allow for audio transcripts, which may end up in the courthouse being less of a circus if the public has a way to access them.
Can’t wait to hear how it goes.
Looking forward to the recap later tonight. ( along with Lee, Ali and Bob. )
Wow,Andrea! This is so well written. It must have taken a lot of your weekend. Thank you for sacrificing your time and energy to correct the wrong you see and to make the world a better place!
Awesome. I wasn't even aware this could be done. I'm definitely taking notes for when Marilyn Manson's lawsuit goes to trial since that court has not been media friendly.
Thank you for your motions to make the Richard Allen trial more transparent and to follow the law regarding items of public record. How this trial is being run is an embarrassment to the citizens of Indiana. The third party defense regarding Odinists should be investigated. When you hear “Odinist” please think instead “White Supremists”. That culture has been part of Indiana for centuries. The KKK headquarters were in Indiana in the 1920’s & ‘30s and there were trials in Noblesville. In 1990 there were cross burnings. In 2001, in the small rural town of Sheridan, much like Delphi, the local bar was named the KKK. Odinists are apart of prison systems in several states, Indiana included. Guards for Richard Allen wore Odinists badges on their uniforms until Allen’s lawyer’s objected. White supremest thought and culture is ingrain in Indiana. How this might be connected to thls chaotic trial and Judge Gull’s rulings should be investigated. Thanks for being here and for taking action.
Question regarding time of death. Rigor mortis was mentioned which is a rough estimate of time of death. But it could at least narrow the discussion of time of death to either afternoon on 2/13 or death between 2am and 6 am on 2/24 when the search was suspended. What exactly was the rigor mortis testimony?
At this point, the only testimony on rigor mortis was from one of the crime scene investigators who testified that it had set in. I did notice in one of the crime scene photos that depicted Libby's back as they had rolled her to the side to look at the ground underneath, there did not seem to be obvious lividity. It's a bit hard to say though because there was a ton of debris stuck to her back.
What is your opinion of the autopsy? There was no toxicology report (chloroform?, no defensive wounds, lines on Abby’s face) or report of stomach contents (time of death)or pregnancy tests (motive). Or did I miss that information? Also no coroner at the crime scene. Liver temperatures would not disturb evidence of sexual assault and would established time of death. With much missed evidence, it’s hard not to think conspiracy. What is your opinion?
They discussed the toxicology procedures during the testimony, so my impression is that toxicology screening was performed, there simply wasn't any result that was notable. There was no discussion of hcG testing during the autopsy to determine pregnancy or possible methods to determine or at least narrow the time of death. I'm suspicious that the defense didn't get funding for their own forensic pathologist to review the autopsy and raise questions about what seem to be fairly obvious deficiencies. If there were obvious issues - such as positive results from a toxicology screen - I'd have expected the defense to bring those out even without an expert, since they would have seen it in discovery and toxicology results are the kind of thing that you can get at least a basic understanding of the significance by doing your own research.
I am so happy to see this, it seems completely absurd that the judge keeps denying access to the recordings, especially considering how this has affected the local community and how they essentially cannot get into the court room to view it publicly. Thank you for being the one to fight the necessary fights!!
It means everything that you give a damn and try in Delphi! 🙌
So well said

Glad to read this!
One of those moments where brevity is briefly set aside. This action is so needed for all interested public viewers.

There aren't enough ways to thank you for this! Perfectly presented, good luck!
